This project saw Except support the IUCN in their year-long development to prepare a new forum format, from concept development, stakeholder involvement, and preparation of the challenges. On 17th April 2015, IUCN organized the Leaders for Nature forum in Eindhoven, resulting in 10 key challenges raised and agreed upon by the leaders. Over 150 participants from businesses, NGOs, and governments joined the meeting to work on our most pressing challenges to natural capital.

Leaders for Nature is the IUCN NL business engagement network of multinationals and major Dutch enterprises working together on greening the economy.

On April 17th, 2015, the annual Leaders for Nature Forum was held in Eindhoven, themed 'Shared resources, joint solutions.' During this event, over 150 participants from businesses, NGOs, and governments worked together on challenges on incorporating natural capital.

Except provided support for over a year to prepare and guide the forum towards a new format. To activate the members, we developed a concept inspired by Hackathons. We supported IUCN with:
